At It’s A Dog’s Life we work with several different rescue groups and individuals by taking in all breeds of dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, injured or abused. Our specialty is socialization, training and rehabilitation. We work through issues that you often find with rescued dogs, and we find the best possible fit for re-homing them.
Our trained ambassador pack of dogs help to rehabilitate and acclimate our rescued dogs. Our philosophy of exercise, setting boundaries, and lavishing plenty of love and affection contributes to the success of our program.
If you are interested in adopting one of our rescued dogs, please come in and fill out an adoption application.

Mickey found a forever home – Please call for more information on our current rescues
Mickey is a 6-year-old neutered male who weighs 75 lbs. He is a mixed breed, who possibly could be a Pitt X.
He is a nice dog with basic obedience skills already learned. Mickey gets along better with female dogs. He would not be good in a home with small children.
Client Comment
“After five or so visits, my dog starts getting excited when we hit Corona. He rushes in with a wagging tail and greets the staff with a doggie smile. I have found the staff and owner to be extremely friendly and accommodating. It is pretty much a stress-free zone and I enjoy visiting with them. Plus, they give bath, trim nails, clean ears and brush coats on demand. My boy came back to me today smelling like oatmeal, his rough coat all smooth and shiny. A joy to have until his next encounter with dead deer, rabbit, mice – you name it, he rolls in it. I checked the grounds and the facilities pretty thoroughly and I appreciate how clean and organized it is. Finally, they have a great selection of leashes and collars as well as some jewelry, snacks and toys. All made in America.” – Caroline L – Sonoma, CA
